Setting and achieving goals…seems like a simple enough process and one that everyone follows. However, here are some stats that illustrate to the contrary:
A Harvard study suggests 83% of the US population does not have goals.
According to a study by University of Scranton, 92% of people that set New Year’s goals never actually achieve them.
14% of people have a goal plan in mind, but these are unwritten goals.
Goals ‘held’ in the mind are more likely to be jumbled up with other 1500 thoughts per minute that an average human mind experiences.
Less than 3% Americans have written goals and less than % review and rewrite them on a daily basis.
Over 80% of small business owners don’t keep track of their business goals.
All of us make goals with utmost optimism and enthusiasm, be it broadening our horizons, picking up a new skill or improving our health. But, more often than not, these noble goals fall wayside.
